As Frank writes, "I’ve known Ian Bousfield since he was nine or ten years old, and even then he was determined to be the best. I have seen and heard him progress from the trombone section of the Rowntrees Cocoa Works Band in York, to be principal trombone of the Vienna Philharmonic orchestra, via spells with the Halle and London Symphony orchestra. Now he’s Professor of Trombone at the University of the Performing Arts in Berne.
