FRANKLY SPEAKING ABOUT banding after covid-19
We haven’t known a situation like this in peacetime and maybe even in times of war too, but it’s the effect that Covid-19 is having on the arts world, and the brass band world in particular, that I’ve been thinking about lately.
As essentially an amateur form of music-making, the current troubles present many problems but if and when things improve that fact also puts bands in a unique position to do themselves and their loyal audiences a huge favour.
