FRANKLY SPEAKING about richard evans

In my latest Frankly Speaking podcast I’m remembering with the greatest affection a dear friend Richard (Dick) Evans who sadly passed away on Friday 22nd April, aged 87.

He was a musician, conductor and walking musical encyclopaedia whose very presence in a room, on a stage or, dare I say it at a bar, meant you were in the best of company.

Ever the professional, devoted to brass music and to those who played it, particularly those just setting out on their brass journey, his life was dedicated to and enriched by his love of music.

So, join me as I remember the talent and the man, that was Richard Evans.
