As we head for 2021, and with thoughts of the doubtless rather muted Hogmanay celebrations this year, we’re celebrating the music and musicians of Scotland.
We’ve got the golden cornet of Phillip McCann, world beating trombonist Ian Bousfield rings out the Blue Bells of Scotland, I conduct the Kirkintilloch Band in a favourite Adrian Drover arrangement, which combines John Lennon with Edward Greig, Andrew Duncan takes the Whitburn band through his Cartoon Classics and a trip to Fingal’s Cave by Mendelssohn is re-created by The Black Dyke Band.
