Every week Frank selects his own favourite track of the week from our weekly Music Podcast, and it's completely free here on Frank Renton on Brass.

"Peter Moore won the BBC Young Musician of the Year competition in 2008 when he was only 12 years old, a remarkable achievement. Six years later already recognised as a brilliant soloist and about to be appointed co-principal trombone with the London Symphony Orchestra, he was completing his second tour of Australia and appearing as a soloist in all the major cities, when he was asked to join an ensemble called Brass FX for their debut album.

Brass FX brought together of some of the finest brass and percussion in Australia to make recordings and for their first recording, as well as Peter, they invited the 'Wizard of Oz', James Morrison, to join them as soloist and they created a terrific album called 'Big Notes'.

From that album, my Track of the Week for this week, on Frank Renton on Brass, is Peter Moore with Brass FX, playing Brasilia by Robin Dewhurst, and it’s just brilliant."

We hope you’ll enjoy our free track of the week - and then will join us to hear all our many programmes. It’s a lot less than a cup of coffee a week!
